BOOT CAMP MARATHON TO BENEFIT JEN'S FRIENDS - OCTOBER 16, 2010

On Saturday, October 16th, Ossipee Adventure Boot Camp held a five hour boot camp marathon from 8am to 1pm to benefit Jen's Friends Cancer Foundation. Jen's Friends Cancer Foundation provides supplemental financial assistance and other resources to cancer patients and their families in the Mount Washington Valley - including Ossipee, Tamworth, Effingham, Madison, Freedom, Eaton, Conway, Jackson, Bartlett and western Maine - who are uninsured, underinsured, or financially challenged, allowing them to focus on battling cancer without worrying about the indirect financial burdens that often arise.

We had 25 participants and in total we raised more than $7300. Jen's Friends currently is assisting 60 local families that are fighting cancer.
